First Light on North Toledo Bend

I took this picture on North Toledo Bend WMA. We had pi rouged into this area amoung the cypress trees into a hole that was covered with duck weed. We had several wood ducks into the decoys before shooting time so it was looking good for being a good hunt. Right at shooting time this drake dropped in and I dropped him. Red made the retrieve, it was such a beautiful morning that I decided to try out my new digital camera, and I posed the duck at his feet. I set up to take the picture and just as I was getting ready to take this picture a flight of woodies hit the water about 20 yards out and had Reds undivided attention. I hit the button at the same instant and the flash went off, I wasn't expecting that, Red didn't know what was happening and the ducks weren't hanging around to find out. What happened was to capture a moment in time that is priceless to a duck hunter.
